Word of truth in christ CHURCH

Before the church had an official name, it was referred to as Word of Truth. The ministry started on February 1, 2018, as a morning prayer conference call led by Ouicia Jolly. God used the Word of Truth to encourage members to practice and exemplify the Word daily and during challenging times, such as the 2020 pandemic. The ministry progressed by adding various services, including Saturday Bible Study, Sunday Morning services, and annual spiritual practices. In 2019, due to an increase in members and services, Minister Jethro Harden joined as an Associate Minister to assist in spreading the gospel. In 2019, Ouicia Jolly was ordained as an Evangelist through Rehoboth Community Church and served both ministries until 2021. In 2020, the ministry transitioned from conference calls to video conferencing to engage members in a virtual face-to-face environment. Minister Telisa Harden joined the leadership team later that year and initiated the Youth Ministry.

In 2021, Word of Truth was officially established as a ministry under the name Word of Truth In Christ Ministry Inc. Later that year, a new partnership was formed with The SingWell Church, under the leadership of Apostle Pamela Bynum, to expand the ministry through spiritual networking. In 2022, Ouicia Jolly was consecrated to the office of an Apostle, and Minister Jethro Harden was ordained as Pastor. In the same year, Word of Truth In Christ Ministry changed its name to Word of Truth In Christ Ministries Inc., based on the vision from God that the ministry would build walking ministries. Today, Apostle Jolly and Pastor Harden are following God's vision to lead a spiritual home for souls seeking salvation and a consistent relationship with God. In 2024, the ministry's name was elevated to Word Of Truth In Christ Church to establish a foundation for sound doctrine, training disciples, and ministering to souls for salvation.

Word of Truth In Christ Church continues to endeavor to build relationships with God and demonstrate the Word of Truth.

Evangelist Meldora Harden

Evangelist Meldora Harden answered the call to become an Evangelist and was ordained in 1978. She was anointed by God to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in many places.

Evangelist Meldora Harden founded a ministry in her home called Interdenominational Church, where she taught and preached the gospel. Under her ministerial leadership, many Christians developed and practiced several types of evangelism.

Evangelist Harden believed in healing and authenticity in fulfilling God's call. Her primary objective was to give people the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. She often asked, “How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him?” After 30 years of service as a leader, Evangelist Meldora Harden passed the ministry on to her son, Pastor Jethro Harden.

The Ministry gained experience by observing another legendary pastor in multiple churches and excelled in leadership through ministerial organizations. Evangelist Harden's legacy includes 2 loving children: a daughter, Evangelist Mother Edwena Jolly, and a son, Pastor Jethro Harden; 2 granddaughters: Prophetess Telisa Harden and Apostle Ouicia Jolly; and 3 great-grandchildren: Christian Maxwell Harden, Samuel Elijah Jolly, and Seria Datrise Jolly.

Pastor Jethro Harden was a well-accomplished and distinguished pastor, founder, and minister of the Gospel. He provided direction and supervision to numerous congregations throughout his career.

Born on November 16, 1927, in Milen, Georgia, Pastor Harden was one of sixteen children in the Harden family. At the young age of eleven, he became a member of Fountain Springs Baptist Church in Milen, under the leadership of Rev. T.H. Glasker, where he served as a church usher. He attended Archer High School in Atlanta and later pursued ministry studies at Carver Bible Institute.

In 1948, Jethro Harden joined the China Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend G.B. Marigna. It was there that he was ordained a deacon and subsequently elevated and anointed to preach the Gospel by God. He later joined the Charity Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor T. Scott, where he was honored as Pastor Emeritus. Pastor Harden was a motivational pastor who inspired church members and others to actively participate in the work of the kingdom. Serving as pastor from 1960 to 2002, he provided leadership and prayer to the members of the following Baptist Churches in Georgia:

  • Zion Hill in Butler

  • Mt Beulah in LaGrange

  • Bethel Bara in Covington

  • Little Mosses Chapel in Atlanta

  • Neriah in Senoia

  • Mount Enon in Monroe

  • Coffer’s Grove in Ellenwood, Atlanta

  • Shady Grove in Atlanta

Rev. Harden was involved with several organizations, including:

  • National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.

  • Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia

Apostle Ouicia Jolly is the founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Truth in Christ Church to set the example of Faith and Truth. Apostle Jolly believes that GOD is with her, guiding her, leading her, speaking to her, and using her to minister the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ. She houses the Word of God, with a heart of an Evangelist, clothed as a Prophetess, walking as an Apostle. She wears many hats outside her role in the Kingdom Business as a Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and friend all at the same time.

Ouicia Jolly is a mother of 3 anointed children of God (Samuel Elijah Jolly, Seria Datrise Jolly, and nephew Christian Maxwell Harden). She encourages all youth that education is very important and should not be taken lightly. Ouicia has accomplished great honors through every level of education through achievements of the principal list at Beecher Hills Elementary and Young Middle School and graduated with honors and awards in music from Benjamin E. May High School. She later attended online classes with Phoenix University from 2007- 2013, earning her associate degree in health care management and 2017 bachelor’s degree in health care administration. In 2020, Ouicia completed her Master of Business Administration from Strayer University

Ouicia loves spirit-filled fellowship in the church and has received experience and training through various denominations.  Ouicia joined The Perfect Church (Holiness Ministry under the leadership of Ronald D. Williams in 2001. She later joined Hillside International Truth Center under the leadership of Bishop Barbara Lewis King in 2012. Ouicia served 5 years as a willing vessel to various ministry groups under Hillside Truth Center.

After the birth of her daughter, Seria, she departed from Hillside Truth Center and started her journey with Rehoboth Community Church in 2014 under the leadership of Overseer Chief Apostle Felecia Daniel. Ouicia served faithfully for the term of 7 years through various elevations and positions within the ministry. In 2015, Ouicia was appointed as the Pastor’s Executive Assistant, appointed as Director over the media team in 2015-2017, ordained as a Missionary in 2018, elevated in 2019 as a Minister, and later turned around on the floor and ordained as an Evangelist.

On February 1, 2018, Ouicia began Word of Truth as a morning conference prayer call. The ministry began to grow and required more activities to keep the sheep engaged in the word of truth. The ministry expands to other activities such as the Saturday Bible studies, annual 40-day abundance practices, and the journey through Lent every year. Ouicia’s passion continued in leading others to the wells of salvation through daily services that provide worship, word, and prayer.

In 2021 Ouicia accepted the call for Apostleship after departing from Rehoboth Community Church in obedience to God. Ouicia Jolly was later Consecrated to the office of an Apostle in 2022 under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Pamela Bynum (The SingWell Church), Apostle Jolly connected with other woman and men of God that include Pastor Anita McKaney (WIN Wifestyle Network) Prophetess Lavern Turner (Faith Walkers Ministries) and Apostle Mike Klump (Greater Impact Church). Apostle Jolly follows the Holy Spirit with precision and is filled to the place of overflow on a regular basis. This says a lot about the time she spends getting refreshed and refilled to stay in a posture of worship unto the Lord. Min-is-tries are coming forth and so much more. Word of Truth In Christ Church's mission is to build relationships with God and demonstrate the Word of Truth.
